What are my chances at a good university such as UCLA, Berkley, or UCI?
I am going to apply to UCLA as a freshman and was wondering what my chances are.
I AM HISPANIC!!!!!!..lol

got a 3 on ap enviromental

avid tutor(dont get paid)

I’m very bothered by your focus on being Hispanic rather than on your accomplishments, and you should realize that California has a law which prohibits public universities from considering race or ethnicity in admissions decisions at all, so being hispanic and being the first Mexican of your class won’t help you at all with the UCs.
Your GPA is good, but if you are ranked #18 with a GPA of 3.96, it says more about grade inflation than it does about performance. However, you have done reasonably well there. What will most likely hurt you is your SAT score. A 1670 just isn’t good enough to get you into the better UCs. I would be surprised if you got in to these UCs, although my guess is that you can get into one of the secondary UCs.
