Removing Vinyl Floor – wood seems to have been wet, cut out the wood but what now?

The subfloor seems fine, if anything a tad soft – but the plywood on top of this was pretty bad- maybe 1 square foot, (the silicone caulk that was at the bottom of the tub needed replacing and kids in the tub and splashing -and you get the picture.) We cut out the bad plywood – is there something
we can put down to seal or reinforce the subfloor before laying the new plywood? Thanks

just replace the plywood you cut out ;best way to reinforce the sub floor would be to resheet entire floor with plywood and run it different then the first time
