Pebble stone over existing tile in shower?

I have a very 80’s shower. I hate the pink/rose color. I have tiled the bathroom floor with a nice porcelain tile. I was watching HGTV and they used these pebble tiles and tiled right over an old marble countertop. I was wondering if I can tile over my standing shower using these pebble tiles. They are flat and easy to work with and look very mosaic and chic.

A horizontal surface is different from a vertical one in a wet location. I would not do it. Remove the old tile and install the pebble sheets.
