Pattern Black
Quilt pattern ideas for Black & White fabrics?

I am looking for some pattern ideas for black & white fabrics. I’ve been collecting black & white fat quarters & have over 20 different ones now. Do you think a Turning Twenty quilt pattern would work good for black & whites? Any other pattern ideas?

Some FQ’s are Black with white prints & others are White with Black Prints…no solids & no white on whites yet, but may add those, if needed.

I’ve also been collecting the Black Backgrounds with neon colors…..would similar pattern work good on those?

I did Turning Twenty #3 in black and whites This pattern has a focal block and I embroidered Loralie Designs Machine Embroidered Sophistikitties. Anything you want in the focal block is great, maybe blackwork or applique? I outlined the focal blocks with a 1/4 inch of red, so there is just a touch of red. Use a wide variety of patterns, whites on black, blacks on white, large prints, small prints, tone on tones. A good balance is key. It’s one of my favorite quilts. Good luck and have a ton of fun!
